So my boyfriend is a Gunney, we are currently waiting on his orders to find out his next station.  He had requested to stay state side, and was told that they would do his best (he's been in 16+ years), but that if they could not find anyone else to go, that he would have to do the 2 year tour to Oki.   On top of every day waiting for the call to find out where his orders are too...  my boyfriend is involved with all of the inauguration stuff and while I know this is his job...  its so hard because even in the evenings we don't have time to talk because they are drilling, or some inspection. 

When my phone chirps that special sound that I know its him... my heart just skips a beat.  I know that I am faithful to him, and that he is to me... but I just cannot imagine a 2 year tour.   I find myself watching video after video of guys returning home... and then find myself just crying, because I cannot imagine him being gone that long.
Just needed to vent.
